Overview
Team of Teams operates primarily via a cycle of recurring events at the biweekly, monthly, and quarterly levels. These events are the Biweekly Sync, the Monthly Stakeholder Review, and the Quarterly Review.

Biweekly Sync
Cadence: Biweekly (every 2 weeks)
Duration: 25 minutes
Invitees: Dependent teams, stakeholders, representation from other Team of Teams
Outcome: Attendees come away with a snapshot of the outcome of the last development cycle and the state of the current development cycle for each team in the Team of Teams, so that they know where followup discussions are needed to coordinate handoffs, displacements, or delays.

Monthly Stakeholder Review
Cadence: Monthly
Duration: 50 minutes
Invitees: Stakeholders, leadership for other Teams of Teams, representation from supporting disciplines or partner organizations
Outcome: Attendees come away with a clear understanding of how team-level execution aligns with and informs Team of Teams strategy, the impact of priority shifts and tradeoffs, and projected delivery in the current and upcoming quarters.
Format: Portfolio Backlog and Roadmap Review (15 minutes), Deep Dives (20 minutes), Q&A (15 minutes)
Quarterly Review
Cadence: Quarterly
Duration: 50 minutes
Invitees: Stakeholders, executive leadership, representation from other Team of Teams, key internal partners
Outcome: Attendees come away with a clear understanding of how the Team of Teams strategy and portfolio of work aligns with the organization’s strategy and goals.
Format: Portfolio Backlog and Roadmap Review (15 minutes), Deep Dives (20 minutes), Q&A (15 minutes)
